Sky Rugs was formally a California based company that created leather, steerhide, and sheepskin rugs for finer residences and five-star hotels.  Garrett Leather, well known for superior quality products and unparalleled customer service, was the main supplier for these beautiful area rugs.  In January 2008, Sky Rugs was purchased and established as a separate division of Garrett Leather.

 

Designers now have the freedom to custom design their own unique floor covering.  Customers may choose virtually any size rug, in almost any shape.  Each rug is handcrafted on a made-to-order basis according to the designer’s specifications.  Garrett Leather continues to be the main supplier to Sky Rugs.  With Garrett’s extensive product offerings including Steerhides, Wovens, embossed leather, and more, these handcrafted masterpieces soon become more than just floor coverings; they become treasured pieces of art.  In fact, many designers have chosen to hang them on walls and doors!
